<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-bidi-font-family: Raavi; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The project proponent has submitted Naib Tehsildar Report regarding siting guidelines and as per report, there is no MC limit and Lal lakir of any village within 500 mtr radius of proposed site. There is no residential colony, hospital, Zoo and 15 pucca houses fall within the radius of 500 mtr of the proposed site. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><strong><u><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">VISIT REPORT :</span></u></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; text-indent: 1in;">The industry was visited by the Asstt. Environmental Engineer of this office on 25.01.2023 to verify the contents of the application submitted by the industry. During visit, it was observed as under: -</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>In view of the above, it is recommended that fresh consent to establish (NOC) <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>may be granted to the industry for establishing unit for the manufacturing Processed Cotton @ 3.0 T/day by using Waste Cotton @ 3.0 T/day under green category for one year with suitable conditions as per the policy of the Board <span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">and following special conditions: -</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">1.The industry shall not commission its unit without obtaining consent to operate of the Board <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">as required under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">2.The industry shall not generate or discharge any kind of trade effluent and only domestic effluent generated shall be discharged onto land for plantation/irrigation/green area, after treatment through septic tank.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">3.The industry shall ensure that no wastewater is discharged outside the industrial premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">4. The industry shall obtain necessary clearance for abstraction of ground water from Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA), if the industry installs submersible pump/tubewell for abstraction of ground water.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">5. The industry shall not install any source of air pollution (boiler/furnace) and shall not consume any fuel for burning purpose without the prior written permission of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">6. The industry shall submit building plan approved by competent authority under Director of Factories, Punjab.</span></p>
