Kullewal, Tehsil Garhshankar, Distt. Hoshiarpur within one month or before the commissioning of the Plant, whichever is earlier. </em></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The SDM, Garhshankar has verified and issued letter bearing no. 221 / MC dated 13.04.2022 and No. 358 dated 16.06.2022 in which the distances with regard to siting guidelines has been verified & the proposed site is meeting with the siting criteria as stipulated by the Board. Further, the site of the hot mix plant has been granted in-principle approval from the Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur for its establishment w.r.t. approval of building plan and change of land use under the Punjab Regional and Town Planning and Development Act, 1995 vide memo no. 2777 dated 08.09.2022. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Regional Office has reported that the industry was visited on 09.01.2023 and observed that the site of the industry falls in the revenue estate of Vill. Kulewal, Tehsil Garhshankar, Distt. Hoshiarpur. The industry has installed one no. hot mix plant with Wet Scrubber as APCD along with re-circulation tanks for the settling of APCD dust. The industry has provided stack of adequate height along with sampling arrangements. The hot mix plant has also installed 01 no. heating furnace with adequate stack height. The industry has installed one no. DG Set of capacity 125 KVA with canopy along with adequate stack height. The hot mix plant has provided fresh plantation around the periphery and has stabilized the movement area with crushed aggregate. The hot mix plant has provided septic tank for the treatment of domestic effluent and treated effluent is used for the irrigation of plants. The hot mix plant is complying with the code of practice. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry for one year with special conditions that:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-bidi-language: PA;">1)</span><span style="font-size: 7.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The hot mix plant shall inform the Board when it comes into operation, so as to collect the air emission samples of furnace.</span></p>
