Ø  The industry was granted consents to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 CTOA/Renewal/MNS/2020/12895187 & CTOW/Renewal/MNS/2020/12895189 dt. 06.07.2020, valid upto 30.09.2024 for the production of Raw Rice/Sorted Rice @ 1 TPH, without dryer, with certain conditions mentioned therein. Ø  Now, the industry was applied for varied consents to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS for production of Raw Rice/Sorted Rice @ 1 TPH alongwith dryer under orange category. Ø  Earlier, the industry had deposited consent fee against fixed assets of Rs. 48.43 lacs with adequacy upto 30.09.2024. Ø  Now, the industry has submitted CA certificate of fixed assets of Rs. 97.99 Lacs of the industry. The industry has deposited Consent Fee of Rs. 22,200/- vide UTR no. 906147809 dt. 02.01.2023 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 25,600/- vide UTR no. 630076794 dt. 02.01.2023 under Air Act, 1981, along with NOC regularization fee of Rs. 2900/-, which is adequate upto 30.09.2027, as per Board's office order dt. 29.10.2018. Ø  The industry has submitted certificate from Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Sardulgarh vide his letter no. 557 dt. 10.05.2022 has certified that site of the industry falls outside the Nagar Panchayat, Sardulgarh. Ø  The industry has submitted completion report for the APCD’s for the dryer section. There is no addition of land. Ø  To verify the contents of the applications, the industry was visited by AEE of this office on 27.01.2023 and observed as under: - <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -14.15pt; line-height: normal; mso-pagination: none; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: 260.25pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none; margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 7.1pt;">·      The industry was in operation. ·      The industry has installed cyclones as APCDs with pre-cleaner section and shelling section and the same were found in operationable condition. ·      The industry has provided stack of adequate height with paddy cleaner and shelling section with adequate sample collection facilities. ·      The industry has provided wall of adequate length with height of 10 feet around husk storage area and 5 feet Jali have been provided over the said wall. ·      The industry has provided paved road for the control of the vehicular dust pollution. ·      The industry has provided the septic tank for treatment of domestic effluent of office building with provision of discharge of effluent onto land for plantation. ·      The industry has provided adequate plantation along the boundary wall of the industry.   From the above it is clear that the site is suitable for the expansion in its existing premises and the industry is complying with the <a name="_Hlk81830170"></a>provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 as well as code of practice prescribed by the Govt. vide order dt.15.10.2013.     Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that varied consents to operate under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry<span lang="EN-US" style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"> for operation of rice sheller unit of capacity 1 TPH of Raw Rice/Sorted Rice with dryer for a period upto 30.09.2027, subject to the suitable conditions along with that the industry will submit its air emission sample report of its shelling section as well as dryer section in every paddy season.
