It is submitted that the industry has applied for obtaining consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle for manufacturing of Alloy Steel Casting/ Alloy Stainless Steel Casting @ 1500 MT/year by using Steel Scrap/Sponge Iron & Ferro Alloys @ 2505 MT/Year as raw material under orange category. The industry has deposited Rs. 24000/- Vide UTR No. 731035788 dated 06/08/2022 against the project report cost of Rs. 1733.21 lakh, which is valid for one year. The industry has submitted copies of land registries in which the subject cited unit is the owner of the land falling in the revenue estate of Vill. Ambey Majra, Mandi Gobindgarh.   The industry has submitted certificate from EO, MC, Mandi Gobindgarh as according to which the site bearing khasra no. 17/18(8-0), 23/1(4-0), 13/1(7-3-2-¼) total area 19 kanal 3 marle falling in revenue estate of village Ambey Majra falls in industrial zone as per Master Plan of Mandi Gobindgarh vide letter no. 1448 dated 14.09.2022. The said khasras are mentioned in the land registries submitted. The industry proposed to install a small induction furnace of 300 kg/heat capacity. The industry has procured feasibility report from Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, Chandigarh vide letter no. 339 dated 01.07.2022 for the said induction furnace and the same is attached herewith.  The industry has not proposed to generate any kind of trade effluent and shall generate only domestic effluent, which shall be discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank. As the site plan and the location plan, the project site was visited by the undersigned on 18.01.2023. During visit it was observed as under:- <span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">1.      The site is located in the vicinity of industrial Focal Point in front of Modern Automotive and other small units. <span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">2.      The industry has construct boundary wall and shed. The machinery is yet to be installed.   The site is suitable for establishment of such type of unit as per policy of the Board. In view of above, if approved , recommendation may be sent to the SEE, ZO-2, Patiala that the Consent to Establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Alloy Steel Casting/ Alloy Stainless Steel Casting @ 1500 MT/year by using Steel Scrap/Sponge Iron & Ferro Alloys @ 2505 MT/Year as raw material, may be granted to the project proponent for one year with the suitable conditions and special condition that the industry shall install its unit in the land area for which it has obtained obtained certificate from EO, MC, Mandi Gobindgarh  and shall obtain completion certificate from PSCST, Chandigarh before commissioning of the project.
