The industry was granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 both valid upto 30.09.2022.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; tab-stops: 146.25pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate and as per agenda note, the service station was visited by AEE on 10.01.2023 and service station was in operation during the visit and engaged in washing and servicing of vehicles. The service station has installed ETP for the treatment of trade effluent generated from washing process as well as STP for the treatment of domestic effluent.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The treated effluent from the ETP-cum-STP is being discharged onto land for plantation and same is adequate for current quantity of discharge. <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">But it has not been commented regarding whether the ETP and STP were in operation during visit, if yes, whether effluent samples collected or not, operational record of ETP & STP, average discharge, adequacy of plantation area, HWM management, designation of area of industry in which the industry falls as per Master plan in agenda note.</strong></p>
