<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; tab-stops: 146.25pt;">The industry is a small scale orange category unit engaged in mfg of hawai chappals. The industry was earlier granted consents both valid upto 31.12.2022 under green category.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; tab-stops: 146.25pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Now the industry has applied for renewal of consents under orange category. The industry was visited by the AEE on 06.01.2023 and it was observed that the industry was in operation during visit and has installed 1 no. baby boiler with adequate stack height. There is no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. Entire cooling is being re-circulated. The industry falls in industrial zone as per DTP letter no. 348 dated 03.03.2014 in which it is mentioned that Saini Colony falls in general industrial zone as per Master Plan Jalandhar(2009-2031). The industry has already submitted building plan from approved architect from Director of Factories, Punjab.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; tab-stops: 146.25pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2027 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board .Competency SEE</p> |
