<p>The service station was earlier granted CTO under the Water Act, 1974 for servicing and repairing of vehicles and not for discharging any trade effluent since the CLU granted to the service station was only for the purpose of servicing and repairing. However, the service station has applied for renewal of CTO under the Water Act, 1974 for discharging of trade effluent after treatment in ETP.</p>
<p>Therefore, it is recommended for issuance of SCN to the service station for refusal of CTO under the Water Act, 1974 please.</p> |
