<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif; color: black;">It is submitted that the industry has clarified that the industry has not procured Zinc Ash to manufacture Zinc Sulphate Since 2014, the same was also verified during visit to the industry. The industry is engaged in manufacturing of Ferrous<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Sulphate by<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>using Iron Scrap and<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Sulphuric<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Acid only. As such, the industry is not required to obtain AUC at this stage. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif; color: black;">In view of the above, it is, therefore once again,<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>recommended<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>that<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>the<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>validity<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>of<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>the consent to operate granted to the industry under the Water Act, 1974 and the<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Air Act, 1981 may be extended upto 30/09/2023, to manufacture<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Ferrous<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Sulphate<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>@<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>5<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>MTD<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>by<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>using Iron Scrap @ 2.5 MTD and<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Sulphuric<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Acid<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>@<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>6.5<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>MTD<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>as<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>raw<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>material<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>with<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>usual conditions and special condition that:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif; color: black;">1.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry shall not procure & re-process Zinc ash /skimming (hazardous waste) without revalidation of Registration/ Actual User Certificate as required for recycling/re-processing of Hazardous waste under the Hazardous & Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif; color: black;">2.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry shall submit the air emission sampling report analysed from Board's lab, within one month.</span></p> |
