CTE/Fresh/PTA/2022/19572350 dated 12/08/2022, valid upto 12/04/2023 <a name="_Hlk125992894"></a>for manufacturing of Rice @ 2.0 T/hour by processing of Paddy @ 3.0 T/hour (with rice drier) subject to conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Rice @ 2.0 T/hour by processing of Paddy @ 3.0 T/hour (with paddy drier of 24 MT capacity instead of rice drier) and discharge of domestic effluent @ 1.5 KLD onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank, under orange category along with requisite documents. The industry has deposited online Rs. 41000/- vide online receipt no. 959161769 dated 28.01.2023 on account of consent fee under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 41000/- vide online receipt no. 744581179 dated 28.01.2023 on account of consent fee under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.09.2027 against the fixed assets of Rs. 127.67 lakh as on 15.12.2022 submitted by the industry. The industry has deposited online Rs. 840/- vide online receipt no. 959161769 dated 28.01.2023 on account of penalty charges under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 8400/- vide online receipt no. 744581179 dated 28.01.2023 on account of penalty charges under the Air Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 1.0pt .0001pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The industry has submitted the feasibility report <span style="background: white;">prepared by M/s TerraSyn Initiatives, having its office at 587, Urban Estate, Phase-2, Patiala (Punjab)<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>in which it was mentioned that </span>the industrial unit is having <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>paddy milling based facility with installed production capacity to process ~3.0 MT/hour of paddy (producing ~2.0 MT/hour of rice) and the set up will also include a paddy drier of 24 MT capacity and to install cyclone separator as APCD <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>to control the emissions which will occur from the paddy drying process.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry has submitted approved building plan dated 22.09.2022 from competent person Sh. Adarshvir Gupta, SCO 36, Surya Complex, Patiala, approved by the Director of Factories, Punjab. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 1.0pt .0001pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry has also submitted completion certificate dated 24.12.2022 from </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; background: white;">M/s TerraSyn Initiatives, having its office at 587, Urban Estate, Phase-2, Patiala (Punjab)<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>in which it was mentioned that </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">the air pollution control system (cyclone separator) provided to control the emissions from paddy-precleaning and paddy milling processes will perform adequately to achieve SPM concentration of less than 750 mg/Nm<sup>3</sup></span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">The industry has also submitted stack emissions sampling reports and analyzed by NABL Approved Laboratory (Noida Testing Laboratories) on 23.128.2022. As per the report, the concentration of particulate matter is </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">291 mg/Nm<sup>3</sup> (shelling section) and 306.5 mg/Nm<sup>3</sup> (paddy drier section),</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;"> which are within the permissible limits as prescribed by the Board. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry submitted compliance report of Consent to Establish (NOC) conditions earlier granted to it.</span></p>

The wind screen system should have a porosity of ~30% to lower the wind velocities, thus reducing the amount of airborne particulate from storage, handling and loading / unloading areas of rice husk.</span></p>
