<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">It is intimated that PP has applied for CTO under the Air Act, of 1981.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">RO has reported that PP is not complying with the terms and conditions of the earlier consent to establish (NOC) granted by the Board as well as the terms and conditions of Environment Clearance granted to it </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> Therefore SCN for refusal of CTO applied under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 along with an opportunity to submit a reply within 7 days was issued to the project proponent vide Board's letter no. 408-09 dated 19/1/2023.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The industry has submitted the reply w.r.t SCN, same is not satisfactory as the PP has not provided the adequate stack height and </span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">PP is not complying with the terms and conditions of the earlier consent to establish (NOC) granted by the Board as well as the terms and conditions of Environment Clearance granted to it. The application is pending since 17/12/22</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">If approved </span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">the CTO under the Air Act,1981 applied by PP may be refused.</span></p>
