File Note: <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, SGR has clarified the observations of worthy CEE stating that </span><span lang="EN-IN" style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">the brick kiln is having capacity to manufacture the&nbsp;Bricks/Tiles @20000 nos./day and as per the certified copy of coal register submitted by the industry, it had operated its unit for the period of March 2019 (6 days), April 2019 &amp; May 2019 only. Accordingly, the industry has deposited the requisite environment compensation amounting to Rs. 44,000/- ( 20000 x 2 months + 20000/30 x 6 days)&nbsp;as environment compensation&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;period&nbsp;for which the brick kiln&nbsp;is&nbsp;actually&nbsp;operated&nbsp;(without&nbsp;converting&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;induced&nbsp;draught&nbsp;technology) i.e. 2 months and 6 days,&nbsp;in compliance of the decisions taken by the Chairman of the Punjab Pollution Control Board during the meeting held on 28.1.2020 with the Punjab Brick Kiln Association regarding compliance of Govt. orders dated 28.05.2019. Which is adequate.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-IN" style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Re-submitted for kind perusal and further order as per note dated 06/01/2022, please.</span></p>
