CTOW/Renewal/FDK/2019/9484988 dated 10.06.2019 and the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/FDK/2019/8801463 dated 01.01.2019 both valid upto 30.09.2022 for operation of Institute-cum-hospital of 30 beds and 50 dental working chairs, subject to the following special conditions</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">a) The institute will comply with the Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">b) The institute will comply with the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;">The institute was also granted authorization under the provisions of BMW rules, 2016 vide no. BMW/Renewal/FDK/2019/9190099 dated 10.06.2019 expired on 31.01.2022.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;">Now, the institute-cum-hospital has submitted application for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;">Observations:</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;">Visit: <span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The institute-cum-hospital was visited by AEE, RO FDK on 05.01.2023 and was found complying as the segregation of the BMW was found proper. The institute has installed an ETP-cum-STP consisting of collection tank -&gt; chemical dosing tank-&gt; Anoxic tank-&gt; equalization tank-&gt; Aeration tank-&gt; Sedimentation-&gt; Carbon filter &amp; sand filter-&gt; Outlet which was in operation and the treated effluent is disposed off onto land for plantation in an area of 2 acres. The effluent sampling from the outlet of treatment plant was carried out during visit and as per the analysis report and as per results conc. of various parameters are within prescribed limits for discharge onto land for plantation.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;">The RO has not commented upon the adequacy of plantation area provided and its maintenance as per Karnal tech. In-situ management of Solid Waste.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><strong><u><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">Fees</span></u></strong><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">-: </span><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The CA certificate of the Institute has increased from 599.74 lakhs (as on 31.03.2018) to 640.59 lakhs (as on 31.03.2022). The major increase in the CA value is due to cost of building (26 lacs approx.) and plant and machinery (15 lacs).</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">RO has not commented whether the increase in assets value is w.r.t. construction of new building/ increase in land area and applicability of Environmental Clearance as per EIA notification 2006/ amended building plans.
