The representative of the industry informed that the wastewater generated from washing of ink rollers is being re-used for dilution of ink. He further informed that the ink required for production is about 80 kg/ day.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has installed a wood/ husk briquette fired boiler of 4 TPH steam generation capacity, which is equipped with cyclone separator as APCD and a stack of approx. height 30 m. The boiler blow down is being collected in a underground concrete tank. The industry has connected one vent from the boiler to introduce steam into the tank for evaporation of the blowdown water but has not installed any forced evaporation system as per the condition of the CTE /consent to operate earlier granted to it. However, the industry is using same for dust suppression and in plantation area. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">8.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry manufactures glue within its premises in a mixing vessel with maize starch powder & water in proportionate quantities and the prepared glue is fed into two no. stirring vessels to maintain its consistency and the same is fed to the plant (Fully automatic folder gluer machine) as per requirement through fixed piping arrangement. For manufacturing it glues, the industry also uses Neobor aka Borax Pentahydrate as an additive for enhancing the adhesive strength of the glue. The wastewater generated from washing/CIP of glue mixing vessel is being reused for manufacturing of glue.</span></p>
