Industry is not doing washing of garments or fabric inside the premises. The industry generates trade effluent from the washing of screens used in printing process only, hence the generation of effluent is very less i.e. 100 lts per day. And the evaporation system provided by the industry is adequate to evaporate the quantum of effluent.</span></p>

To clear the ambiguity regarding the time period to allow the operation of industry at Industrial Mixed Zone, clarification is required to obtain from the DTP, Ludhiana. </span></p>

Direction u/s 33-A of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be issued to the PSPCL Authorities to restore the electric connection of the unit temporarily for the period of further 06 months. </span></p> |
