<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;">The unit has applied for consent to establish (NOC) for setting up of unit engaged in production of Finished Cooker and Cookware Body unit @ 500 numbers/day with buffing process under small scale red category. The site is situated in Focal Point, Hoshiarpur which is an industrial zone.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;">As per agenda note, the site was visited by AEE on 03.01.2023 and reported that the industry has already constructed a room. The industry has proposed to start the work of buffing of pressure cookers on job basis for Hawkins cookers Hoshiarpur. The project proponent has proposed to install 4 no. buffing sections/grinding and has proposed to install Cyclone as air pollution control device with adequate height and proper sampling arrangements. The industry will discharge only domestic effluent into PSEIC sewer. During visit two no. buffing machine has been installed and other installation work is under process.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of above, if approved, consent to establish (NOC) under the provisions of Water Act 1974 and Air Act 1981 may be granted to the unit for buffing of cooker parts@ 500 nos/day for one year with suitable terms and conditions and with special condition that the industry shall provide proper air pollution control device with buffing section and shall not operate its unit without obtaining consent to operate of the Board.
