<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d; background: white;">It is submitted that the Educational Institute was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/HSP/2019/11556888 and CTOA/Renewal/HSP/2019/11556914 dated 19.12.2019, which were valid up to 30.09.2022. Now, the Educational Institute has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS. The Educational Institute has deposited Rs. 120000/- vide UTR.No. AXIC222710041595 dtd 28.09.2022 as consent fee under Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 120,000/- vide UTR.No. AXIC222710044555 dtd 28.09.2022 as consent fee under Air Act, 1981, <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Rs. 11800/- vide UTR no. 11800 as NOC regularization fee, which are adequate up to 30.09.2027 under both Acts. The industry has submitted CA certificate, compliance report, approved map and compliance of the previous consent in annotated form. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d; background: white;">The institute was visited by the officer of this office on 03.02.2023 and <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>observed as under:- 1. The educational institute is engaged in imparting education services to the students. 2 The educational institute has provided a septic tank to store a domestic effluent. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The institute has laid a underground Sewer pipeline crossing to the road and further connected leading to 30 MLD – STP, Hoshiarpur. 3. The educational institute has installed D.G. sets (02 nos.) of capacity 125 KVA & 63 KVA, which are fitted with canopies. 4. The Institute has also installed Rainwater harvesting pits 5. The MSW is being dumped on the MSW dumping site as told by the representative. Keeping in the view of above, if approved, the application may be send to Zonal Office, Jalandhar with recommendations that the renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the Educational Institute up to 30/09/2027 with the condition that the institute will install STP of adequate capacity keeping in mind the future growth in the nos. of students. </span></p> |
