<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; mso-line-height-alt: 11.3pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; background: white; margin: 8.2pt 17.1pt .0001pt 40.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The shopping mall shall apply for renewal of authorization under Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Trans-boundary Movement) Rules, 2016 through OCMMS within 07 days.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; mso-line-height-alt: 11.3pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; background: white; margin: 8.2pt 17.1pt .0001pt 40.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->Environmental Engineer, Regional Office-2, Jalandhar shall visit the shopping mall to verify the approved build up area of project & the record of fresh water consumption/HVAC/ green area, check the adequacy of plantation area provided by the shopping mall, collect the effluent sample of STP and submit the report alongwith recommendations to decide the consent application within 07 days.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-line-height-alt: 11.3pt; background: white; margin: 8.2pt 17.1pt .0001pt 0cm;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>To check the compliance of the above decisions, the project was visited by AEE on 05.12.2022 and reported that:-</p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -33.75pt; mso-line-height-alt: 11.3pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; background: white; margin: 8.2pt 17.1pt .0001pt 51.75pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The shopping has applied for renewal of authorization under Hazardous and Other Wastes Rules, 2016 through OCMMS.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -33.75pt; mso-line-height-alt: 11.3pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; background: white; margin: 8.2pt 17.1pt .0001pt 51.75pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The project proponent produced copy of approved building plan dated 05.06.2014 as per which the FAR area is 195644 Sqft and covered area is 217116.60 Sqft (including basement + mumty). As such the total built up area of the project is 20170.8 Sqmt, which is greater than 200000 Sqmt and the project proponent was required to obtain prior Environmental Clearance under category 8b of the EPA notification dated 14.09.2006. However, the project proponent has not obtained Environmental Clearance.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -33.75pt; mso-line-height-alt: 11.3pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; background: white; margin: 8.2pt 17.1pt .0001pt 51.75pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The record of fresh water consumption for the period 01.10.2022 onward was collected and as per the record the average fresh water consumption is 83 KL and the highest fresh water consumption was noted to be 234 KL on 13.10.2022, which is much more than the fresh water requirement of the project @ 88 KLD. Further, the occupancy of the project is about 22 -25% as such the total fresh water requirement of the project when fully occupied will be much more than the 88 KLD claimed during the time of CTE. As such the project proponent has obtained CTE/NOC by submitting wrong information at the time of consent to establish.</p>
