CTOW/Fresh/SAS/2018/6858936 dated 15.02.2018 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/SAS/2018/6858920 dated 12.02.2018 both were valid upto 30.09.2022 for the manufacturing of Plywood & Block Boards @ 1,858 Sq.m/day by using Face Veneers @ 3,700 Sq.m/day, Glue @ 1,500 Kgs/day as a raw material subject to certain terms and conditions mentioned therein.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">Now, the project proponent applied for renewal of consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the manufacturing of Plywood & Block Boards @ 1,858 Sq.m/day by using Face Veneers @ 3,700 Sq.m/day, Glue @ 1,500 Kgs/day as a raw material alongwith requisite documents and same production capacity.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">The project proponent has submitted latest CA certificate with increase of fixed assets from Rs. 511.41 lacs to Rs. 546.12 lacs due to addition of 01 no. vertical Band saws machine and 02 no. core drying press. The project proponent has deposited Rs. 112700/- vide UTR No. N340222235099780 dated 06.12.2022 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 110300/- vide UTR No. N340222235112469 dated 06.12.2022 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 31.07.2028 under both Acts, after adjustment of NOC regularization fee @ 2900/- and late fee / penalty @ 4500/- under each Acts.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">The industry has submitted compliance report of the previous granted consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</p>

The industry has installed plantation around the boundary wall and the representative informed that effluent after passing through the septic tank is being used by the adjoining farmer and plantation area provided around the boundary.</p>

The representative of the industry informed that formaldehyde and phenol are used as raw material for production of glue. He further informed that no significant quantity of wastewater is generated from glue kettle and small quantity of wastewater generated from washing of glue kettle is reused in the manufacturing of glue itself.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">The industry had earlier submitted a bank guarantee dated 03.01.2018, amounting to Rs. 50,000, which was expired on 03.01.2019 and now the representative assured that they will submit the fresh bank guarantee of same amounting within a week.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">In view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be renewed upto 30.06.2028 subject to suitable terms and conditions as per policy of the Board and following additional conditions that:</p>
