No. 185 dated 29.01.2020 for closure and PSPCL authorities were directed to disconnect the electric connection available to the industry and same was disconnected by PSPCL authority.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry applied for consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 through OCMMS as the industry has valid consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 and same were granted for shorter period of six months, up to 03.10.2020, with directions to the PSPCL Authorities to temporarily restore the electric connection of the industry for six months. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Thereafter, the industry applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981. The industry was visited by this on 22.05.2022 and was found complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981. Consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/ASR/2022/18815818</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">dated 01/07/2022 up to 31/12/2022 And Under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/ASR/2022/18815821 dated 01/07/2012 up to 31/12/2022 for M.S. Screw (on job basis Electroplating) @800Kgs/day subject to the suitable condition along with directions to the PSPCL Authorties to temporarily restore the electric connection of the industry for six months. </span></p>

It has already deposited Rs.</span> <span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">1400/- vide UTR No. N347222245930071 dated 13.12.2022 under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 500/- vide UTR No. N347222245923478 dated 13.12.2022 and Rs. 1400/- vide UTR No. N347222245941730 dated 13.12.2022 under Air Act, 1981. Including the earlier deposited consent fee by the industry, it is adequate up to 30/06/2027 under both acts. </span></p>

Ltd., Ludhiana for lifting of effluent @ 1000 Lts./Month, which is on the lower side. </span></p>

Further the industry has been visited by this office upon restoration of electric connection on 22.05.2022 and now on 03.02.2023 and as per policy of the Board, permanent restoration of electric connection of the industry can only be recommended after compliance of 03 no. consecutive visits. </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for shorter period of six months subject to the <span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>suitable conditions and special condition that the industry shall revise its effluent lifting agreement with </span></span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">M/s JBR Technologies, Ludhiana within one month and submit copy of the same to this office. </span></p>
