Hardening/ Heat treatment Furnace, 1 no. Re heating furnace for press, 1 no. shot blast, 2 no. Reheating furnaces for hammer with lifting of trade effluent @ 5000 ltr/month lifted to CETP operator.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-line-height-alt: 11.3pt; background: white; margin: 8.2pt 17.1pt .0001pt 0cm;">·<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Thereafter, the industry was issued notice <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>with hearing before SEE, Zonal Office, Jalandhar on 05.04.2022 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>wherein it was decided as under:-</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; mso-line-height-alt: 11.3pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; background: white; margin: 8.2pt 17.1pt .0001pt 40.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><em><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span></em><!--[endif]--><em>The industry shall improve the fuel feeding system of heating furnaces to control black smoke emissions, within 15-days.</em></p>

Pvt. Ltd. maintaining proper record regard to fresh water consumption, effluent generation and lifted by M/s JBR on daily basis.</em></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; mso-line-height-alt: 11.3pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; background: white; margin: 8.2pt 17.1pt .0001pt 40.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><em><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span></em><!--[endif]--><em>The industry shall provide canopy / acoustic enclosure with DG set of 6 KVA or remove it from the premises, if not in use, within 15-days.</em></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; mso-line-height-alt: 11.3pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; background: white; margin: 8.2pt 17.1pt .0001pt 40.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><em><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span></em><!--[endif]--><em>The Regional Office-1, Jalandhar shall visit the industry after stipulated time, verify the contention and process the consent applications on merit keeping in mind the suitability of site for expansion.</em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-line-height-alt: 11.3pt; background: white; margin: 8.2pt 17.1pt .0001pt 0cm;">·<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for varied consent under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Scaffolding, hand tools, etc @ 18 MTD with 2 no. reheating furnaces with hammers, 1 no. reheating with press, 2 no. shot blast machines and 01 no. Baby Boiler.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-line-height-alt: 11.3pt; background: white; margin: 8.2pt 17.1pt .0001pt 0cm;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As per agenda note the industry was visited on 09.01.2023 and reported that the industry has one existing electroplating zinc section with barrels and the industry has now added a new automated electroplating plant as well. The<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>industry<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>has<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>now made<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>an<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>agreement<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>with<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>M/s<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>JBR<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Technologies<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Pvt. Ltd, Ludhiana for lifting of effluent @ 15000 ltr./month. The industry has now provided common water meter on the pipeline carrying fresh water in both electroplating sections. The industry has now provided 2 no. underground storage plastic tanks of capacity 5000 ltrs each for the collection of the its effluent generated from both the electroplating processes. The industry has maintained records of fresh water consumption as well as lifting of trade effluent which is proportional.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-line-height-alt: 11.3pt; background: white; margin: 8.2pt 17.1pt .0001pt 0cm;"> The industry has not added any new land for above changes and has carried out all the changes within the existing premises. The industry has submitted CLU for the existing premises from STP Jalandhar memo no. 110 dated 17.01.2012. The industry has submitted approved building plan from competent person under Factories Act.</p>
