mso-bidi-font-family: Arial; background: white; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">The project proponent has submitted feasibility report of pollution control arrangement; wherein it has calculated water requirement for the project considering occupancy of 5 persons/ plot, which is not in line with the Department of Housing and Urban Development notification no. G.S.R. 144/P.A.11/1995/Ss.180 and 43/2021 dated 31.08.2021, wherein it has been specified that for calculation of infrastructure required for the project, the population of plotted development shall be counted @ fifteen persons per plot<strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">, hence the calculation of water pollution load as well as the disposal arrangements needs to be re-assessed by the project proponent.</strong></span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 90pt; text-indent: -18pt; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-family: Verdana; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial; background: white; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">The RO has mentioned in its agenda note as under:</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 90pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial; background: white; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">&ldquo;The colony has submitted calculation for the built-up area as per the maximum FAR for residential area as well as commercial area which comes out 123890.08 sq.mtr. (Copy Attached).</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 90pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial; background: white; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">Hence, EIA notification 14.09.2006 is not applicable on colony&rdquo;</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 90pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial; background: white; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">The said calculation chart attached by RO with its note, was perused and it was noted that the colonizer has taken FAR for varying plot sizes as 1.65, 1.75, 1.90; whereas as per the Department of Housing and Urban Development notification no. G.S.R. 144/P.A.11/1995/Ss.180 and 43/2021 dated 31.08.2021, the max. achievable FAR for residential plots is mentioned as 2.1 x Plot area; therefore, the same needs to be re-assessed by the colonizer as well as the RO.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 90pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial; background: white; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">Also, the RO is required to re-assess regarding the coverage of the project under EIA notification, 14.09.2006 in light of the MoEF&amp;CC letter no. 205 dated 15.04.2019.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-left: 90pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial; background: white; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">In view of the above, if approved, the application be returned to EE, RO, Bathinda to return it to the project proponent with advisory to resubmit the application after attending to the aforesaid observations.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p>
