<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The industry was granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 under green category unit, both valid upto 31.12.2023 for manufacturing of cementitious tile adhesives & grout products @ 60000 MTA by using quartz sand @ 6000 MTA, natural/river sand @ 24000 MTA, cement @ 29160 MTA & tylose (Cellulose Methyl ether) @ 840 MTA as raw material.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Thereafter, the industry was granted NOC for expansion vide no. CTE/Exp/LDH4/2022/18752342 dated 06.08.2022, valid upto 05.08.2023 for the manufacturing of Cementitious Tile Adhesive & Grout Products @ 60000 MT/Year and for Sand dryer of capacity 10 TPH alongwith Cyclone followed by bag filter house as APCD.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Now, the industry has applied varied consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 and has deposited consents fee, which is adequate upto 05.03.2025 under both Acts.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">To verify the facts, the industry was visited by officer of RO on 17.01.2023 and it was observed as under:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The industry was in operation during the visit.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->The industry has installed one handmade mixer plant for manufacturing of cementitious tile adhesives & grout product. The raw material and the product is in powder form only.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. <!--[endif]-->Apart from above, the industry has installed one automatic mixer plant which is attached with dust collector / bag filter house as APCD alongwith adequate stack height.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4. <!--[endif]-->The industry has installed one DG set of capacity 250 KVA, which is provided with acoustic enclosure alongwith adequate stack of height.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5. <!--[endif]-->The industry has also installed a sand dryer using fuel as LDO/HSD fired which is equipped with cyclone followed by bag filter house as APCD along with stack of adequate height. However, during visit the dryer section was not in operation and stack emission sample could not be got collected.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->6. <!--[endif]-->There is no generation any trade effluent and only domestic effluent is being generated.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->7. <!--[endif]-->The industry has installed STP of capacity 05 KLD for treatment of domestic effluent and is being discharged into green belt to be developed in the premises. The effluent sample from the outlet of the STP was collected by officer of the Board on 7.12.22 and as per the analysis result ,the concentration of particulate matter is found to be pH= 8 ,TSS=13 mg/l ,TDS=1253mg/l ,COD=60 mg/l ,BOD=12 mg/l and oil grease=BDL which are with in prescribed standards .</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->8. <!--[endif]-->The industry has earlier submitted copy of allotment letter issued by PSIEC, Chandigarh vide its letter no. 25409-413 dated 11.02.2021, mentioning that the proposed site measuring 13068 sq. yard falls under Industrial Focal Point, Raikot for 99 years on lease for manufacture Cementitious Tile Adhesives & Grout Products. The industry is being developed in Industrial Focal Point, Raikot and the site is suitable for establishment of such units.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->9. <!--[endif]-->As per CA certificate dated 03.10.2022, the plant and machinery of the industry is Rs. 7.52 Cr., as per the policy of the Board, the industry falls in medium scale orange category.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> In view of above, it is recommended that varied consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.12.2024 with special condition that the industry will gets its stack emission sample analysed from the Boards lab within one month.</p>
