<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It is intimated that the industry is large scale red category tyre manufacturing unit. The industry was earlier granted consent to operate under Air Act, 1981, valid upto 31/03/2023 for production of Cycle Tyres/ Auto Tyres @ 40000 Numbers/Day and for using rice husk as fuel in its 02 boilers of capacities one of 06 TPH (operational) and one of 06 TPH (standby) these are provided with common trima cyclone as APCD alongwith common stack of height. One of rice husk & pet coke fired boiler of 12 TPH provided with separate trima cyclone & double alkali scrubber as APCD alongwith adequate stack height. 02 DG sets of capacities (1x1250 KVA and 1x180 KVA) which are equipped with canopies and adequate stack height.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has deposited consent fee, which is adequate upto 31.03.2028.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Accordingly, the industry was visited by the by officers of the Board on 09.01.2023 and it was observed as under:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The industry was in operation during the visit and is engaged in manufacturing of cycle and auto tyres.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->The industry has installed one rice husk & pet coke fired boiler of capacity 12 TPH, which is provided with trima cyclone & double alkali scrubber as APCD alongwith common stack of adequate height. During visit, rice husk was being used as fuel in its boiler and only trima cyclone was in operation.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. <!--[endif]-->During the visit, stack emission sample were collected from the porthole of the stack attached to the APCD of boiler 12 TPH. As per the analysis results, the SPM was found to be 132 mg/Nm3 against 350 mg/Nm3, which is within the prescribed limits of the Board.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4. <!--[endif]-->The industry has installed 02 boilers of capacities 06 TPH each (Both standby) these are provided with common trima cyclone as APCD and are attached with the common stack of height.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5. <!--[endif]-->The industry has installed 02 DG sets of capacities (1x1250 KVA and 1x180 KVA) which are equipped with canopies and adequate stack heights.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->6. <!--[endif]-->There is no generation of trade effluent and only domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->7. <!--[endif]-->There is increased in plant and machinery of the industry about Rs. 1.4 Cr. the industry has added mainly moulds etc. The industry has submitted NOC regularization fee for the same.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->8. <!--[endif]-->The site of the industry falls in approved focal point.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.06.2028 with suitable conditions, please.</p>
