<p class="MsoNormal">AEE vide notes dated 30/01/2023 and 01/02/2023 has clarified that:</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">“As per the feasibility report obtained from PSCST, Chandigarh, the industry has proposed to upgrade the induction furnace of capacity 4.5 TPH to 7 TPH, which implies that the existing furnace will be upgraded and not removed. However, as per application and feasibility report, the industry has not proposed to keep the existing furnace as stand by and the old furnace shall be dismantled.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Further, no complaint is pending against the industry as per the record file.”</p>
