<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The industry is engaged in pickling process to manufacture Bright Steel Bars etc. @ 10 MTD by using M.S. Rounds etc. @ 10 MTD and Sulphuric Acid (Pickling Section) @ 25 Kgs/day and there is no generation of trade effluent from the process, however spent acid is being sent by the industry to authorized re-processor i.e. M/s JBR Technologies Unit-II, Kohara, for which, the industry has already signed an agreement on 22.08.2022 for disposal of spent acid @ 2000 ltrs/month.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">It is therefore recommended that the industry be granted fresh 'consent to operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 upto 30/06/2028 with suitable conditions and special condition that the industry shall keep proper records regarding generation and disposal of spent acid to be lifted by Authorized re-processor only.</p>
