<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has applied fresh Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of All Type of Self Thread Screw @ 500 Kgs/day, All Type of Machine Thread Screw @ 1000 Kgs/day, All Type of Nuts @ 500 Kgs/day, All Type of Washer @ 200 Kgs/day along with requisite documents.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted CA Certificate with the value of fixed assets of Rs. 1.50 crore on 31.03.2022. The project proponent has deposited Rs. 92,500/- vide UTR no. AXISF23023089115 dated 23.01.2023 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 86,600/- vide UTR no. AXISF23023089120 dated 23.01.2023 under Air Act, 1981. After deduction of late fees, NOC regularization fees and after including VDS scheme, the consent fees under Water Act, 1974 is adequate till 31.03.2026 and Air Act, 1981 is adequate till 31.07.2026.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted electricity bill as proof of date of commissioning, electricity connection date is 13.02.2015.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted re-allotment letter of industrial plot no. 934 issued by JLPL. The project proponent has submitted approved building plan from competent person under Factory Act, 1948. The project proponent has submitted memorandum of association of Girdhar Fasteners Private Limited.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">The industry was visited by under-signed on 06.02.2023 and contacted Sh. Swaran, Store keeper (9018271671). During visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-indent: -18pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">The industry was in operation and is engaged in manufacturing of screws, nuts and washer using ms wire and ss wire as raw material.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">The industry has installed 15 rolling machine, lathe machine, 22 header machine and 2 barrels. The industry is rotating the screws in the barrel along with wood dust for finishing.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">The industry has installed DG set of 62.5 KVA with canopy and inadequate stack height. No other source of air pollution is installed.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">No trade effluent is generated from the process.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">The industry is located in JLPL industrial area approved for such type of industries.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">In view of above, it is recommended that ‘consent to operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted till 31.12.2025 with special conditions as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">The industry will provide adequate stack height with DG set of capacity 62.5 KVA.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">The industry will not carry out any water polluting and air polluting process without obtaining prior permission of the Board.</span></p>
