<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 0cm 17.75pt .0001pt 7.1pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"> Now, the industry has proposed to increase its production capacity for Blending & Bottling of liquor from 400000 cases/year to 800000 cases/year by operating the already installed 3</span><sup><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">rd</span></sup><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"> standby line and by adding automatic labeling machine at line no. 1 & 3. Accordingly, the industry<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>has<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>applied for<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>obtaining varied<span style="letter-spacing: 3.75pt;"> </span>consent to operate<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for Blending & Bottling of liquor from 800000 cases/year<span style="letter-spacing: -.05pt;"> by using Ethyl Alcohol @ 10.0 T/day & Flavor and Essence @ 10.0 KG/day as raw material.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 0cm 17.75pt .0001pt 7.1pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; letter-spacing: -.05pt;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 0cm 17.75pt .0001pt 7.1pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; letter-spacing: -.05pt;"> The industry has deposited consent fee on account of Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 as mentioned at serial no. VII, against the revised total fixed assets of the industry i.e. 94.31 Lacs, as on 31/03/2022 as per CA certificate Dated 22/12/2022. The consent fee is adequate upto 31/08/2028 under each Acts. The industry has also deposited NOC regularization fees of Rs. 2,900/-, which is adequate for increase in the value of fixed assets @ 32.0 lacs (approx).</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 0cm 17.75pt .0001pt 7.1pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; letter-spacing: -.05pt;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 0cm 17.75pt .0001pt 7.1pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; letter-spacing: -.05pt;"> Further, the industry has proposed that there will be no addition in existing land & building of the unit and thus increased capacity will be achieved by installing plant & machinery in existing shed only. </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 0cm 17.75pt .0001pt 7.1pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; letter-spacing: -.05pt;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 0cm 17.75pt .0001pt 7.1pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; letter-spacing: -.05pt;"> Moreover, the industry has already obtained NOC from the Department of Town & Country Planning vide memo no. 821-DTP (S)/LPM- 132 dated 30.07.2012 for land measuring 20 kanal 7 marla. As per the said letter, the site of the industry falls outside the Local Planning Area of Moonak and the industry does not require to obtain 'change of land use' (CLU) for the site in light of guidelines issued by CTP, Punjab vide memo no. 2151-64/CTP (Pb)/S.P-421/S.P. 135 dated 26.03.2010 .</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 0cm 17.75pt .0001pt 7.1pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; letter-spacing: -.05pt;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 0cm 17.75pt .0001pt 7.1pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; letter-spacing: -.05pt;"> It is pertinent to mention here that </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">the Board has not prescribed any specific sitting guidelines for such type of industries. In this case, the site of the industry falls in Village Wazidpur, Tehsil Moonak, Distt. Sangrur, for which Master Plan is yet to be prepared. Therefore, the industry has got the distances verified from Tehsildar Moonak for the various parameters from the site of the industry. As per the report, there is no village Phirni, Lal Lakir & Residential area within 100 mtr radius of the site of the industry. Moreover, the site falls outside the MC limit. Hence, the site is complying with the general sitting guidelines as prescribed by the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 0cm 17.75pt .0001pt 7.1pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"> To check the compliance, the industry was visited by AEE on 07.02.2023 and during visit, it was observed as under:-</span></p>

In case of any information provided by the industry found wrong, this consent shall stands cancelled automatically. </span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">The industry shall maintain plantation area as per karnal technology for utilization of treated waste water onto land for plantation.</span></p> |
