<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Detail of existing unit:- </strong>The industry is existing dyeing unit in the name of M/s Hinglaj Processors, at Jagdishpura, Tajpur Road, Ludhiana and a member of CETP 50 MLD. The industry has been granted consent under Water Act, 1974 valid upto 15.03.2023 into Municipal Sewer for discharge @ 258.8 KLD. The industry has not obtained CTO into CETP conveyance system.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">As per PDA letter dated 22.07.2022, the industry was issued tentative shares of 609 KLD. As per the GNE report 2022, the industry has installed machinery for discharge of 572.8 KLD. The industry has been issued directions to discharge effluent @ 572.8 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Proposed unit:-</strong> The industry has proposed to shift part of its machinery from existing unit to proposed unit at Jamalpur Awana, Tajpur Road. The industry was granted ‘Consent to Establish’ / NOC under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981, valid upto 13.10.2022 for establishment of dyeing unit for Dyeing of Pc/Polyester Cloth @ 8.5 Tonne/day and Dyed Acrylic Yarn @ 720 Kg/day with discharge of trade effluent @ 342 KLD & domestic effluent @ 1.0 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD alongwith one boiler of 8 TPH, One thermopac of capacity 1000 U and one DG set of capacity 250 KVA subject to usual conditions mentioned therein.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Now, the industry has applied for extension in NOC. The industry has proposed to install 7 soft flow machines (300 kg X 2, 400 kg X 3, 600 kg X 2) and 4 hank dyeing machines (60 Kg each), one boiler of capacity 08 TPH, one thermopac of capacity 1000 U & DG set of capacity 250 KVA. The industry has proposed to discharge waste water @ 344 KLD into 50 MLD CETP for the dyeing cluster of Tajpur Road, Ludhiana through dedicated conveyance system. The industry has also proposed to install boiler of capacity 8 TPH with rice husk as fuel and cyclone separator as APCD. The industry has proposed to install thermopac of capacity 1000 U with rice husk as fuel and cyclone separator as APCD.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As the finalization of shares is under process and in view of present discharge allowed to the industry at existing unit.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It is recommended that extension in Consent to Establish / NOC may be granted for one year for discharge of trade effluent @ 342 KLD & domestic effluent @ 1.0 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD with special conditions that:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The total effluent from both the units shall not exceed 572.8 KLD (based on GNE report 2022).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->The industry will install EMF at inlet water supply before the commissioning of unit.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. <!--[endif]-->The industry shall make the necessary arrangements to achieve the effluent standards as per the inlet designed parameters of the CETP.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4. <!--[endif]-->The industry shall stop discharging its effluent in case due to any reason the CETP is not operational or dedicated conveyance system is overflowing.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5. <!--[endif]-->The industry shall obtain consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 before the commissioning of the unit.</p>
