<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 18.0pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Earlier the industry was applied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and same was refued due to reasons mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 18.0pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Now, the industry has applied for consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for production of frozen vegetables and fruits @ 36 MTD raw material of Fresh vegetable and fruits @ 100 MTD. The unit has submitted CA Certificate, compliance of NOC, approved building plan, completion certificate ETP etc.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 18.0pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry has already deposited Rs. 113400/- vide UTR No. P208220181824262 dated 27.07.2022 under Air Act and Rs. 113900/- vide UTR No. P208220181825797 dated 27.07.2022 under Water Act. The fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2027.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 18.0pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Earlier, the industry was visited by officers of this office on 30.11.2022 and observed that the unit was not in operation. The unit has installed ETP of capacity 150 KLD of MBBR Technology to treat the trade effluent generated from its premises and same will be discharged onto land for plantation for Karnal Technology. The total land area of plantation is developed by the unit approx. 2 acres. The industry has installed septic tank for the treated domestic effluent and same will be discharged into plantation are inside the premises of the industry. The industry has installed one no. boiler of capacity 1 TPH along with cyclone separator as APCD and adequate stack height and using as a fuel wood. The industry has installed one no. 500 KVA fitted with canopy. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 18.0pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;">In view of above, if approved consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2027 with usual terms and conditions and with special condition that</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 18.0pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;">1) The industry shall submit the effluent/ stack emission samples from the Board's lab within 03 months.</span></p>
