CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2021/14590058 dated 19.01.2021 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2021/14589475 dated 19.01.2021, which is valid till 30.06.2024 for manufacturing of Silencer @ 3 MTD with certain conditions.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 49.65pt;">Now, the project proponent has applied varied Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Four head @ 200 MTD, Angle @ 200 MTD, Foot Plate @ 1500 MTD, Spice Plate @ 200 MTD, UHEAD @ 1500 MTD, Universal @ 200, Steel Waler @ 200 MTD, Bracing @ 1500 MTD & Silencer @ 3 MTD along with requisite documents.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 49.65pt;">The project proponent has submitted CA Certificate with value of fixed assets of Rs. 3.84 crore on 30.11.2022. Earlier, the industry has deposited Rs. 54,000/- vide no. UBINA20352710292 dated 17.12.2020 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 54,000/- vide no. UBINA20352711327 dated 17.12.2020 and Rs. 8200/- vide no. UBINA20352709876 dated 17.12.2020 under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, which is valid upto 30.06.2024. Now, the project proponent has deposited Rs. 54000/- vide R no. 959267882 dated 03.02.2023 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 54000/- vide R no. 714516257 dated 03.02.2023 under Air Act, 1981.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 49.65pt;">The project proponent has submitted transfer letter approved from PSIEC vide no. 11333 dated 04.08.1998 for manufacturing of Tractor parts in the name of M/s Jassi Forgings.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 49.65pt;">On scrutinizing the application of the project proponent following observation were observed on 06.02.2023 with request to submit reply within 2 days.</p>

The industry has installed 3 no. phosphating process and the trade effluent is also got lifted from these 3 tanks to Bantech.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry is maintaining the record of water consumption and wastewater generation. The industry has lifted trade effluent @ 3500 ltr vide manifest dated 20.12.2022 & @ 3500 ltr vide manifest dated 11.01.2023. The wastewater lying in the tanks was matching with the record maintained by the industry.</p>

DG set 125 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of above, it is recommended that show cause notice for refusal of ‘consent to operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with an opportunity of 15 days to submit reply in writing. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></p>
