BMW/Renewal/ASR/2018/7104675 dated 05/03/2018, which is valid up to 28/02/2023 (Hospital @ 20 Beds).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> Now, the hospital has applied for obtaining consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (for hospital @ 25 beds and domestic effluent @ 07 KLD) along with Request Letter, undertaking regarding the HCF is located within Municipal Corporation, Amritsar, Compliance report of Authorization granted under Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016, Copy of BMW Authorization, Bed Capacity Certificate, Agreement made with CBWTF valid up to 16/01/2028 and Annual Report.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> <a name="_Hlk86673810"></a>The hospital has deposited Rs. 12,000/- vide UTR/Ref. No. SBIN323027500506 dtd 27/01/2023 under Air Act, 1981 and Rs. 12,000/- vide UTR/Reference No. SBIN323027501770 dtd 27/01/2023 under Water Act, 1974, which is adequate up to 30/09/2027. The hospital has also deposited Rs. 1000/- vide UTR/Reference No. SBIN323027503757 dtd 27/01/2023 as NOC Regularization fee and Rs. 500/- vide UTR/Reference No. SBIN323027498219 dtd 27/01/2023 as an application form fee.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> The Hospital was visited by officer of this office on 07/02/2023 and observed as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The Hospital comprising of 25 beds and is engaged in providing medical health services.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The hospital has installed water treatment equipment in Laboratory and Operation Theatre with the help of Sodium Hypochlorite Solution.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The Hospital has submitted undertaking that the hospital is located under the limit of Municipal Corporation, Amritsar.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The hospital has maintained the record of Bio-Medical Waste.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The hospital has also installed captive oxygen generation plant in the basement.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The hospital has installed D.G. set of capacity 55 KVA, which is fitted with canopy.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> It is further intimated that the hospital is complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The hospital is having bed capacity of 25 beds and competency to decide the case lies with Environmental Engineer.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><strong><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> </span></strong><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">In view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the HCF up to 30/09/2027 subject to usual conditions and along with special conditions as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.5in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The HCF will submit the waste water analysis report to the Board, within 02 months, where STP at terminal end is installed.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.5in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The HCF will renew its agreement time to time made with Common Bio Medical Waste Treatment Facility well before its expiry and submit the copy of same in this office.</span></p> |
