CTOW/Renewal/RPN/2021/16945870 dated 21/10/2021 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/RPN/2021/16945937 dated 21/10/2021, both were valid upto 20/04/2022 for operation of screening cum washing plant only @ 5000 CFT/day subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-pagination: none; mso-layout-grid-align: none; punctuation-wrap: simple; text-autospace: none; margin: 12.0pt 6.0pt 10.0pt 4.5pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Now, the unit has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 alongwith compliance of previous consent (attached alongwith) and undertaking regarding code of practice</span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Georgia; mso-bidi-font-family: Georgia; mso-font-width: 110%; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The industry has submitted the CA certificate dated 05.01.2023, wherein, the value of fixed assets of the industry as on 05.01.2023 is of Rs. 45.05 Lakhs with the value of plant and machinery of Rs. 32.30 lakhs. As per the record file, the fee was adequate upto 30.09.2025 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. After deducting 100% penalty as late application fee, the fee is now adequate upto 30.09.2024 under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 as per circular dated 29.10.2018</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 76.5pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"> It is pertinent to mention here that the unit has not submitted the slips of obtaining raw material from the O/o Executive Engineer-cum-District Mining, Drainage cum Mining Division, Rupnagar regarding obtaining raw material due to the non-operation of the unit as mentioned in the undertaking attached alongwith.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 5.95pt 5.7pt 6pt 5pt; text-indent: 67pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">And, as per circular no. CEE (HQ)/F.No./957/2016/59 dated 02/02/2016, the case for renewal of NOC/Consent to operate for Orange & Green category industries is to be processed based on self-certification submitted by the industry to the effect that it is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, as such, the stone crushing unit covers under orange category.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">In view of the above facts, if approved, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be renewed for a short period</span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 110%;"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">upto 30.09.2023, subject to the suitable conditions and additional conditions as under:</span></p>
