<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">The project proponent has submitted reply of the show cause notice that it has got carried out sampling of the effluent from NABL approved lab M/s Interstellar Testing Centre Pvt. Ltd., Panchkula on 17.11.2022 and the results (pH – 7.62, TSS – 5, TDS – 2000, COD – 8, BOD –2, O & G -- <4.0 and Bio Assay – 100% survival of fish was observed after 96 hours in 100% effluent) are within prescribed limit of the Board. The sampling date is before the sampling carried out by Board i.e. 07.01.2023. Hence the reply submitted by the hospital is not adequate .</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">In view of above, it is recommended that show cause for refusal of ‘consent to operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 with an opportunity of personal hearing may be issued.</p>
