<p style="text-align: justify;">The industry has submitted the point wise reply of the SCN issued by the Competent Authority of the Board. After perusal of the reply, it was observed that the industry informed that they have purchased the poultry farm in the year 2014 and the industry claimed that no construction has been carried out after 2014. The industry have got permission for 54000 birds. Now, industry is having 150000 birds. The industry informed that one shed was collapsed and all birds in the shed was dead therefore, the pits were found filled upto the neck causing foul smell in the area.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the said act may be refused as the industry is operating its unit beyond the granted capacity and also violating the other Environmental Laws.</p> |
