<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Sir as discussed, the record from the online SCADA system was checked and it was found that the average discharge of the industry during the month of August 2022, September 2022, October 2022, November 2022, December, 2022 and January 2023 were found as 561 KLD, 608 KLD, 567 KLD, 494 KLD, 530 KLD and 457 respectively and the peak flow during the same period remained 848 KLD, 851 KLD, 791 KLD, 736KLD, 732 KLD and 696 KLD respectively. Whereas the industry has applied for the disposal of trade effluent @ 794KLD into the conveyance system of the CETP as it had alredy obtained shares<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>@800 KLD from the SPV. But the estimate discharge of the industry as per the machinery installed is about 600KLD.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">In view of above, it is recommended that:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .75in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Varied consent to operate for the change of name i.e. M/s Girnar Fabrics India Private Limited (Formerly known as M/s Girnar Hosiery Works (regd.) unit-i), Village Bhattian, K.B. Road, G.T. Road West, Ludhiana under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>for the generation of trade effluent @ 794 KLD may be granted to the industry for the period of one year with the special condition that:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 1.5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">·<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall make the necessary arrangements to achieve the effluent standards as per the inlet designed parameters of the CETP.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 1.5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">·<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">There shall be no physical expansion of the unit either with the installation of new machinery or with the permission for enhanced electricity load, after the varied consents are granted for increased discharge of effluent.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 1.5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">·<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall stop discharging its effluent in case due to any reason the CETP is not operational.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Directions u/s 33-A of </span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>may be issued to seal 01 soft flow dyeing machine of 800 Kg, which has been installed by the industry without obtaining prior NOC from the Board. </span></p> |
