Discussed with EE..................

1. The industry has submitted that it shall reuse the treated effluent after ETP into the process i.e. washing. The industry is engaged in dry cleaning and washing of garments and is using non ionic agent in the process. As the process is not carried out by using harsh reagent / soaps / chemicals, as such there is no significant impact on the TDS of the effluent. The treated effluent can be reused in the washing process alongwith some make up water for the industry has provided metering system on the same.

2. There are several printing / washing units located in Bahadurke Road / Rahon Road area, which have been granted consents to operate for reuse of effluent in the process as the quantum of effluent generation from these units is very less and treated effluent can be reused in the process alongwith make up water.

3. As already mentioned in the agenda note, the industry has submitted the DTP certificate issued by the DTP, Ludhiana vide letter no. 2653 dated 29.11.2022 which stating that the site falls in residential zone as Master Plan, Samrala (2012-31) and the industry “dyers and dry cleaners” is permitted to operate at the site....
