R15TRTCTOA2485158 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>dated 18/03/2015, which was valid upto 30/09/2019 for operation of brick kiln with FCBTK Technology. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; background: white;">Now, the subject cited brick kiln has applied for varied consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and fresh consent under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (under Orange Category) for the manufacturing of bricks and tiles @ 2400000 Nmber/Year.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; background: white;">The Brick kiln has deposited Rs 54000/- vide UTR No. N018232294805490 dated 18.01.2023 as consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Rs. 64800/- (including Rs. 14400/- penalty under Air Act, 1981) under Air Act 1981 and Rs. 3400/- (including Rs. 500/- as application form fee) vide R. No. 62/5420 dated 06.02.2023, which it is adequate upto 30/09/2032 under both acts. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 22.5pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; background: white;">The brick kiln has also submitted completion certificate issued by PSCST, Chandigarh vide letter no. PSCST/CC/1018 dated 24/02/2020 intimating that the industry has modified its existing brick kiln into induced Draft Brick Kiln with Zigzag Firing on its own. This completion certificate is issued with the condition that the Kiln owner will ensure the implementation of recommended operating practices as per the Feasibility Report (SPL-1332).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 22.5pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; background: white;">The brick kiln has submitted an Certificate duly authenticated by C.A. K.S Dhingra & Co., regarding that the brick kiln has operated for the month of May 2019 and Jun 2019 between Jan 2019 to Feb 2020. Accordingly, the brick kiln owner has also deposited Rs. 40,000/- vide R.No. 61/5420 dated 06/02/2023 as Environmental Compensation fee for this two month period. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 22.5pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; background: white;">The brick kiln was visited by officer of the Board on 08/02/2023 and observed as under:- </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 4.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .25in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; background: white;">In view of above, it is recommended that Consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry 30/09/2032 with the conditions as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 45.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; background: white;">The brick kiln will obtain Environmental Clearance under EIA notification for mining of brick clay to be used as a raw material for the manufacturing of bricks as per Head Office order no. 346 dated 1/8/2016.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 45.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; background: white;">The consent is subject to the orders passed by the Hon’ble High Court for the state of Punjab & Haryana/Hon’ble National Green Tribunal or other judiciary authority in the cases pending or being filed with regard to the subject matter of the office order.</span></p>
