<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;">The industry has applied for fresh Consent to Establish (NOC) under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Stiching Wire @ 0.50 MTD, Sodium Silicate<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>@ 4 MTD, Modified Starch @ @ 11 MTD.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As per agenda note, the proposed site was visited by EE alongwith AEE on 25.01.2023 and it was observed that the industry has constructed the boundary wall at site. The construction work of the industry is 0% completed, further work is under process. The site is suitable to set up the said unit at site. The project proponent has uploaded the certificate issued from DTP, Jalandhar vide letter No. 1545 dated 12.08.2022 in which it was mentioned that the industry falls in Industrial Zone as per Master Plan 2009-2031.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has proposed to shift its exiting unit namely M/s Garg Chemical old Hosiarpur Road Jalandhar to Plot no 26-A, Jandu Singha Industrial Complex-2 Kangniwal Road, Village Jandu Singha, Jalandhar. The representative of the industry informed that they have not installed any new machinery thermic boiler and baby boiler at proposed site. The industry has proposed to install one existing wood fired baby boiler of capacity 1 T/day with water scrubber. The industry has proposed to install one existing wood fired thermic boiler of capacity 4 Kcal/hour with water scrubber. The industry has proposed to install two existing D.G sets of capacity 320 KVA with canopy.·<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has proposed to install galvanizing section for which the industry has made agreement with JBR Technology, Ludhiana @ 3500 ltr/month<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>for effluent generation.·<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has proposed to install 1 no. underground tank of capacity 2000 ltr for the storage of trade effluent generated by the galvanizing section. The domestic effluent will be discharge onto land for plantation.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for one year with suitable conditions and with special condition that the industry shall obtain necessary permission/ statutory clearance from the concerned Departments, if required, if any, in future its own level.
