<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is intimated that the hotel is a small scale orange category unit. Earlier the hotel was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH3/2019/9522839 dated 25.09.2019 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH3/2019/9522689 dated 21.05.2019 for the disposal of only domestic effluent @ 12.0 KLD into sewer after treatment through oil & grease traps, which were expired on 24.09.2020 and 30.09.2022 respectively.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the hotel has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the disposal of domestic effluent @ 12.0 KLD into MC sewer. The hotel has deposited Rs. 1,26,000/- vide UTR. No. N020232297689262 dated 20.01.2023 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Rs. 10,800/- vide UTR. No. N020232297700098 dated 20.01.2023 as NOC fee and<span style="color: red;"> </span>Rs. 1,26,000/- vide UTR. No. N020232297696475 dated 20.01.2023 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, which are valid upto 30.06.2027.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The hotel was visited by AEE of this office on 09.02.2023 and observed as under:-</span></p>

Hoods are provided on all the mouth of bhathies and further connected with the common duct leading to top of roof of the building.</span></p>

Thereafter the effluent is being discharged into the MC sewer leading to the terminal STP. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">In view of above, it is recommended that the c</span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 12pt; text-indent: -0.25in;">onsent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 may be granted to the hotel upto 30.06.2027.</span></p> |
