<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Earlier, the unit was granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">CTOA/Renewal/ASR/2022/18026024 dated 17/03/2022 and under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/ASR/2022/18026202 dated 17/03/2022, which are valid up to 31/03/2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Now, the unit has applied for renewal consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 with requisite documents and the consent fee for one year period i.e. up to 31/03/2024.</span></p>

Sets of capacity 210 KVA (03 nos.), 1650 KVA (02 nos.) & 630 KVA (01 no.) in a acoustic room.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>It is further submitted that the effluent samples were collected by Board’s Lab from final outlet of STP. As per analysis report, issued by Zonal Lab, Jalandhar vide no. 378-80 dated 02/02/2022, the concentrations of various parameters i.e. pH = 8.1, COD = 54, BOD = 16, TSS = 17, TDS = 410 </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Raavi; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-bidi-language: PA;">and O&G = BDL </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">are found within the prescribed limits of the Board. The unit is complying with conditions of the consents granted under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>It is further intimated that the unit falls in Red category in the large-scale sector and competency to decide the case lies with Hon’ble Chairman of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the unit up to 31/03/2024 with suitable terms & conditions along with special condition that the unit will submit effluent analysis report within 02 months from Board’s Lab or Approved Lab.</span></p> |
