The industry is a small scale red category unit engaged in manufacturing of Aluminum and Steel Utensils @ 1500 Kgs/day, Hard Anodised Cookwares @ 500 Kgs/day, Powder Coated Cookwares @ 200 Kgs/day, Aluminum and Stainless Steel Pressure Cookers @ 1000 Nos/day.               Earlier, the industry was granted CTE/NOC valid upto 16.11.2022.Now, the industry has applied for consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act 1981 through OCMMS.  The industry has deposited consent fees of Rs. 72,000/- vide Receipt No. 970709380 dated 18.01.2023 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 72,000/- vide Receipt No. 877845213 dated 18.01.2023 under Air Act, 1981, adequate upto 30.06.2027.                    As per agenda note the industry was visited by AEE on 02.02.2023 and it was observed that the industry is engaged in the process of anodizing and has installed ETP. During visit the components of ETP were found in good condition. The effluent is generated only from the washing of the utensils parts after anodizing process which is in small quantity as the washing is carried out in same bucket for many utensils and is discharged into ETP after the water is not fit for washing purpose. The treated effluent from the ETP is discharge onto land for plantation. The industry has submitted analysis results of samples collected on 09.01.2023 by NABL Accredited Laboratory i.e. Noida Testing Laboratories as per which the concentration of various parameters including letter was found to be within the prescribed limits of the Board.Domestic effluent is being discharged into MC sewer.                  The industry has installed 3 no of D.G sets of capacity 200 KVA, 250 KVA & 62 KVA with canopies and attached to stack of adequate heights. The industry has also submitted the DTP letter for approval of building plan for industrial manufacturing and sale of domestic appliance vide letter no. 55 dated 13.01.2022. The industry has submitted approved building plans and is complying with the conditions of NOC granted to it.            Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2027 with usual conditions and with special conditions that:-    1.    The industry shall maintain proper record of the operation of the ETP.   2.  The project proponent shall obtain permission from the PWRDA for the abstraction of ground water.
