The industry is a small scale red category unit engaged in  manufacturing of Aluminum Utensils @ 1200 Kgs/day, Hard Annodised Cookwares @ 400 Kgs/day, Powder Coated Cookwares @ 200 Kgs/day and Aluminum Pressure cooker @ 100 Kgs/day.           Earlier, the industry was granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air  Act, 1981 both valid upto 30.06.2023.             Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act 1981 through OCMMS. The industry has deposited Rs. 54,000/- vide Receipt No. 391581732 dated 18.01.2023 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 54,000/- vide Receipt No. 932050177 dated 18.01.2023 under Air Act, 1981 which are adequate upto 30.06.2028.             As per agenda note the industry was visited by AEE on 02.02.2023 and it was observed that the industry was in operation during visit and has installed one electric annealing furnace, 5 nos. electric hard anodizing plant and 8 nos. buffering and grinding machine with gravity dust settling chamber. The industry is engaged in the process of anodizing and has installed ETP. The industry has submitted the feasibility report of the ETP. During visit the components of ETP were found in good condition. The effluent is generated only from the washing of the utensils parts after anodizing process which is in small quantity as the washing is carried out in same bucket for many utensils and is discharged into ETP after the water is not fit for washing purpose. The industry has submitted analysis results of samples collected on 09.01.2023 by NABL Accredited Laboratory i.e. Noida Testing Laboratories as per which the concentration of various parameters including letter was found to be within the prescribed limits of the Board. The industry was advised to utilize the treated effluent from the ETP for irrigation onto land for plantation. The industry has developed adequate plantation area (approx. 600 sq.ft dedicated and also along the boundary wall of the industry) for disposal of its domestic effluent after septic tank and treated trade effluent.                 The industry has installed 1 no. D.G set of capacity 320 KVA with canopy and attached to stack of adequate height. The industry has submitted certificate regarding classification of area vide DTP letter no. 53 dated 11.02.02014, according to which site of the industry falls in General Industrial Zone.               Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act 1981 may be granted upto 30.06.2028 with usual conditions as per policy of the Board and with special condition that the industry shall maintain proper record of the operation of the ETP.
