CTOW/Renewal/BAR/2020/11930635 dated 07/08/2020, valid upto 30/06/2022 &amp; the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/BAR/2018/7472685 dated 02/08/2018, valid upto 30/09/2022 for Marriage Palace, to hold function upto 250 persons, with certain conditions mentioned therein.</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 75.65pt; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 5.4pt;">Now, the marriage palace has applied for obtaining renewal of consents to operate under the Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 &amp; the Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS of the Board.</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 75.65pt; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 5.4pt;">The marriage palace has deposited consents fee of Rs. 50400/- deposited vide UTR. No. 000122673455 dated 20/04/2022 under the Water Act, 1974 &amp; Rs. 50400/- deposited vide UTR. No. 000122674926 dated 20/04/2022 under the Air Act, 1981, against the value of gross fixed assets of Rs. 80.45 lacs, which is adequate upto 30/06/2030.</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 75.65pt; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 5.4pt;">The project proponent has made agreement with Sh. Gurjit Singh owner of piggery farm for lifting of its solid waste. Plastic / Recyclable material is being sold to local kabarias.</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 75.65pt; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 5.4pt;">To verify the facts, the marriage palace was visited by AEE of this office on 25/01/2023 and it was observed as under:-</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 23.35pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span><!--[endif]-->During visit, no function was going on in the palace.</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 23.35pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span><!--[endif]-->The palace has constructed grit removal arrangement and oil &amp; grease trap followed by septic tank of size 9'x9'x11', for treatment of effluent generated from kitchen. It has also provided 01 no. septic tank having dimensions 6'x9'x6' to treat the effluent generated from washrooms. Thereafter, one no. common collection tank of size 15'x10'x10' has been provided and treated wastewater is used for plantation purposes.</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 23.35pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span><!--[endif]-->The palace has developed plantation along boundary wall in an area about 4552 sq ft and parks consisting of lawn in an area about 5512 sq. ft inside its premises and effluent generated from kitchen and washroom is being discharged in that area after passing through common collection tank.</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 23.35pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span><!--[endif]-->The project proponent has provided DG set of capacity 62 KVA, with canopy and adequate stack height.</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 23.35pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span><!--[endif]-->The project proponent has made agreement dated 05/11/2017 with Sh. Gurjeet Singh, owner of piggery farm at Village Patti Saravan, Kothe Tallewal Khurd, District Barnala for lifting its solid waste.</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 23.35pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span><!--[endif]-->In compliance to Board&rsquo;s order no. SEE(HQ-2)/2021/64 dated 02/02/2021, the marriage palace has made compliance as under :-</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -13.5pt; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l2 level2 lfo1; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 39.35pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->&bull;<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span><!--[endif]-->In kitchen section, the ducting / hood arrangement and proper exhaust system has been provided.</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -13.5pt; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l2 level2 lfo1; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 39.35pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->&bull;<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span><!--[endif]-->The project proponent has informed that, No DJ set will be allowed to operate after 10:00 PM.</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -13.5pt; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l2 level2 lfo1; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 39.35pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->&bull;<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span><!--[endif]-->The representative of the marriage palace was informed that No thermocol / plastic disposal will be used in marriage palace during function.</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 7.85pt;">In view of above, it is found that the marriage palace is complying with guidelines for control and enforcement of environmental norms as notified by Board&rsquo;s circular no. 64 dated 2/2/2021 and Hon&rsquo;ble National Green Tribunal, New Delhi orders dated 04.02.2021.</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 7.85pt;">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the marriage palace, upto 30/09/2029 subject to the suitable conditions and following additional conditions:</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 25.85pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span><!--[endif]-->The marriage palace shall obtain necessary clearance for abstraction of ground water from Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA).</p> <p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 13.2pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 25.85pt;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 11pt;">2. The marriage palace shall comply with the Mechanism/Guidelines prescribed by Central Pollution Control Board in compliance of Hon'ble NGT orders dated 17.12.2019 (in the matter of O.A. No 400/2017 titled as Westend Green Society Vs Union of India &amp; Ors) for Control of Pollution and Enforcement of Environment Norms at Individual Marriage palace and the Area/Cluster of Restaurants/Hotels/ Motels/Banquets etc&rdquo; on or before 01/08/2021 and thereafter, shall submit the compliance to the Board.</span></p>
