<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Rice @ 3.0 T/hour by processing of Paddy @ 4.5 T/hour (with drier of 32 MT capacity) and discharge of domestic effluent @ 1.5 KLD onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank, under orange category along with requisite documents. The industry has deposited online Rs. 41840/- vide online receipt no. 279335593</span> dated 05.02.2023 on account of consent fee under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 41840/- vide online receipt no. 333861845 dated 05.02.2023 on account of consent fee under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.09.2027 against the fixed assets of Rs. 124.73 lakh as on 15.01.2023 submitted by the industry.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 1pt 0.0001pt 0in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry has also submitted completion certificate dated 27.01.2023 from </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; background: white;">M/s TerraSyn Initiatives, Patiala (Punjab) in which it was mentioned that </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">the air pollution control system (cyclone separator) provided to control the emissions from paddy-pre cleaning and paddy milling processes will perform adequately to achieve SPM concentration of less than 750 mg/Nm<sup>3</sup></span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry has submitted approved building plan dated 18.01.2023 from competent person Sh. Jasvir Singh approved by the Director of Factories, Punjab. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; background: white; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The industry has also submitted stack emissions sampling reports and analyzed by NABL Approved Laboratory (Noida Testing Laboratories) on 17.01.2023. As per the report, the concentration of particulate matter is 309</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"> mg/Nm<sup>3</sup> (shelling section) and 288 mg/Nm<sup>3</sup> (paddy drier section),</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';"> which are within the permissible limits as prescribed by the Board. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry submitted compliance report of Consent to Establish (NOC) conditions earlier granted to it.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry was visited by the officer of the Board on 11.02.2023. During visit, it was observed as under: </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 81pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: normal; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';">b.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry shall provide proper rice husk storage facilities inside the factory premises and the height of brick wall in front of the discharge point of rice husk area should be at least 10' high or 3.5' higher than the discharge point of the rice husk pipe (whichever is more) and the length of aforesaid brick wall should be at least 35' on each side of the rice husk discharge pipe.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 81pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: normal; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';">c.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry shall provide a layer of wind screen of mild steel or some other similar material of at least 5'height above the brick wall. The wind screen system should have a porosity of ~30% to lower the wind velocities, thus reducing the amount of airborne particulate from storage, handling and loading / unloading areas of rice husk.</span></p>

The HDPE warp knitted fabric be made of 100% virgin high density polymer of at least 70 gm/m2 weight having 40-45 hole/inch2 to prevent wind blowing of stored husk. </span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Raavi; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">The industry shall inform the Board in writing as and when any change is occurred in the Partnership Deed / Proprietorship / Memorandum of Article of Association, especially with regard to the name and address of the Partner / Proprietor / Director / Subscriber etc, and in any case the industry fails to do so and later on it comes to the notice of the Board that there is any change in Partnership Deed / Proprietorship / Memorandum of Article of Association, action as deem fit under the provision of said Act shall be taken.</span></p> |
