CTOW/Varied/FZR/2021/16885572 dated 12/11/2021 and the Air Act, 1981 vide no.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>CTOA/Varied/FZR/2021/16885533 dated 12/11/2021, both valid upto 31/12/2022 for the operation of the unit for production of Grain Based Anhydrous Denatured Ethanol/ENA/RS/Industrial Alcohol Plant @ 280 KLD, Animal feed Supplement /Cattle Feed/Poultry Feed @ 140 MTD, Cogeneration plant @ 12 MW alongwith CO<sub>2</sub> @ 125 MTD by using Nakku (Grain unfit for human consumption) / Bajra/Maize/Sorghum @ 650 MTD as raw material, subject to the following special conditions that:- </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: .05pt 12.05pt .0001pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall install SPM analyzer & and shall connect the OCEMS with the server of the Board. Within 01 month and shall intimate the Regional Office of the Board, within 07 days, thereafter. </span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: .05pt 12.05pt .0001pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">15.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent shall obtain permission(s) from all the concerned department(s), as required.</span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 11.75pt .0001pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry again applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 11.75pt .0001pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">From the perusal of the documents submitted with the application applied under the Air Act, 1981 by the industry, it has been observed as under-</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: .25in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -22.5pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has not submitted any document with regard to earmarking of land within its premises for disposal of boiler ash and/ or for adoption of necessary arrangements for proper disposal of fuel ash in a scientific manner and w.r.t maintaining proper record for the same. </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Further, it has been reported by the Regional Office that the industry is still not in operation and is lying closed and the site conditions /compliance(s) could not be verified. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The matter was deliberated and it is observed that according to the provisions of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the consent to operate can be refused after affording an opportunity of show cause to the industry. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>In view of above, if approved, the show cause notice for refusal of CTO under Air Act, 1981 may be issued to the industry with an opportunity of personal hearing before the Hon'ble Chairman of the Board. </span></p>
