<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 1.6pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;">It is intimated that the project proponent has applied for obtaining consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for setting up of Plyboard unit at </span><span style="line-height: 150%;">Plot No. C-61, C-62, Industrial Growth Centre, Tehsil & District-Pathankot </span><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;">and falls under Orange Category of the categorization of the industries.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 1.6pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;"> The industry has deposited </span><span style="line-height: 150%;">Rs. 18500/- Vide UTR No. 381282690 dated 07/02/2023 </span><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;">as NOC fee including Rs. 500/- Form Downloading Fee, which is adequate for one year period against total gross value of fixed assets worth Rs. 978.670 lacs. The project proponent has submitted relevant documents, which are enclosed along with the application, which may kindly be pursued. The </span>site of the industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 25/01/2023 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 19.6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>The industry has proposed to establish a Plyboard unit at Industrial Focal Point.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 19.6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>The industry has proposed to install one no. boiler of capacity 8 TPH with cyclone as APCD, which is principally adequate.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 19.6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>The industry has proposed to install one no. glue manufacturing kettle. Effluent will be generated from washing of kettle.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 19.6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>The industry has also proposed to establish residential quarters.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 19.6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>For the treatment of trade effluent and domestic effluent, the industry has proposed to install ETP Cum STP Plant consisting of Screen Chamber- Oil & Grease Trap - Collection Tank – Chemical Reaction Tank- MBBR (Aeration Tank)- Secondary Tube Settler- Filter Feed Tank- Pressure Sand Filter- Activated Carbon Filter- Sludge Drawing Beds. The ETP proposed is adequate to treat effluent @ 1.0 KLD and the STP is adequate for treatment of effluent @ 20 KLD, which seem principally adequate.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 19.6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;">6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span>The treated effluent of the ETP cum STP will be used for the irrigation of plantation area.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 19.6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">7. <span style="line-height: 115%;">The industry has proposed to install an D.G. set of capacity 365 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height. (Agenda Note is also attached herewith).</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">In view of above, it is recommended that the industry may be granted NOC from pollution angle under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for one year period with the special condition that :-</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: 20.7pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">The industry shall submit the feasibility report of APCD within one month.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: 20.7pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">2. </span><span style="line-height: 115%;"> <span style="line-height: 115%;">The industry shall submit the approved building plan from approved architect and shall obtain Consent to Operate of the Board. </span><span style="line-height: 115%;"> </span></span></span></p> |
