Earlier the service station was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act 1981 Vide CTOW/Renewal/JAL/2017/6229188 dated 17.10.2017 valid upto 30.06.2022 and Vide CTOA/Renewal/JAL/2017/5735273 dated 07.07.2017 valid upto 30.06.2022 with special condition that the service station shall comply with the zoning regulation of Master Plan prepared by Department of Town &amp; Country planning.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Now the service station has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act 1981. The service station has deposited Rs. 90000/- UTR.No. N239222093471809 dated 27.08.2022 under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 90000/- UTR.No. N239222093475820 dated 27.08.2022 under Air Act, 1981 and Rs, 18000/- vide UTR.No. N239222093475804 dated 27.08.2022 as NOC regularization fees which is adequate upto 31.3.2027.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>A clarification has been raised to the service station on 03.02.2023 mentioning that the service station has submitted previous compliance report without signed and stamp and as per special condition, the industry has not submit the zoning regularization of Master Plan prepared by Department of Town and Country planning. However, the industry has submitted reply to the clarification hat the building of Lovely Autos Nakodar Chowk, jalandhar is a about 35-35 years old and they have not approved any plan of the building. They are applying for approval of plan in the office of Department of town and country planning Jalandhar. On getting the approval they will submit the document to this office. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>The service station was visited by the AEE of this office on 11.01.2023 and it was observed that the service station was in operation and engaged in the process of washing and servicing of Cars. The service station has installed ETP consisting of Collection tank</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Wingdings; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;">&agrave;</span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">Reaction tank </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Wingdings; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;">&agrave;</span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">Clarifier</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Wingdings; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;">&agrave;</span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">Final Collection tank</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Wingdings; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;">&agrave;</span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">Sand and Gravel Filters, for treatment of its trade effluent and finally discharged into M.C sewer. The effluent samples from the final outlet of ETP were collected during visit on 11.01.2023 and as per analysis report received from Zonal Lab, Jalandhar vide letter no. 182-84 dated 25.01.2023, the concentration of various parameters are found within the prescribed limit (pH=7.7, COD=138 mg/l, TSS=39 mg/l and O&amp;G=6.2 mg/l). The service station has installed 2 nos. D.G sets of capacity 250 KVA &amp; 125 KVA with canopy and attached to stack of adequate height. The service station has installed 1 No. Paint Booth with cyclone separator <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;</span>as APCD.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>(Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act 1981 may be granted to the service station upto 30.09.2026 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board and with special conditions that:-</span></p> <ol style="margin-top: 0cm;" start="1" type="1"> <li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">The service station shall comply with the zoning regulation of master plan prepared by Department of Town &amp; Country planning.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span></span></li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">The service station shall submit building plan approved from competent authority within 01 month. (Competency SEE).</span></li> </ol>
