The industry has started maintaining record of water consumption in process wef 09.02.2023. As per record the final reading on 14.02.2023 was 597 ltr, however during visit it was 636 ltr. No record of water lifted and water balance is maintained in the logbook.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-right: -31.5pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The slope of floor of the process area needs to be improved so that no water gets stagnant on the floor and little bit spillage of the effluent was observed.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-right: -31.5pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has provided 03 no. collection tanks for final storage of effluent i.e. 01 no. within the premises and 2<sup>nd</sup> and 3rd no. in the adjoining plot. The Ist tank is of size 8'X16'X5' , 2nd tank is of size 1000 ltr and third tank is of 7'8"X 7'8"X6'. The waste-water generated from the process is collected in a concrete tank of </span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">size 8'X16'X5' from where it is lifted through flexible pipe and motor to</span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2nd tank is of size 1000 ltr and thereafter through flexible pipeline into </span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">third tank is of 7'8"X 7'8"X6'. The 2nd and 3rd tank are placed near the </span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; text-indent: -0.25in;"> domestic waste-water collection tank from where it is lifted through mobile tanker as informed by the representative. No sewer has been laid by MC in the area.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-right: -31.5pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; text-indent: -0.25in;">5) The industry has installed 30 header machines, 17 rolling machine and 30 slotter machine and 9 barrels for zinc plating. The industry has installed DG set of 125 KVA with canopy and adequate stack.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-right: -31.5pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; text-indent: -0.25in;">In view of above and before refusing the CTO under Water Act, 1974, it is recommended that the industry may given an opportunity of personal hearing before SEE.</span></p>
