The industry is a large scale red category unit and is engaged in filling of LPG cylinders. The industry was granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 both valid upto 31.03.2023.              Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981. As per agenda note, the industry was visited by officer of Regional Office-1, Jalandhar on  07.02.2023 and observed that the main source of generation of trade effluent is from washing of cylinders. The industry has installed ETP comprising of collection –cum- equalization tank, chemical d osing –cum- reaction & settling tank- pre filtration tank – MGF & ACF. During visit, there was no flow of effluent at its outlet, hence the sample could not be collected. Earlier, the industry was visited by officers of the Board on 08.06.2022 and during visit effluent samples was collected from outlet of ETP and  all the parameters were found within the limits.                In view of report of RO, if approved, consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 31.03.2024 with suitable & terms conditions and with special condition that the industry shall submit the effluent analysis report of ETP analyzed from Board’s lab within 02 months.(Competency:- Chairman of the Board)
