<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; tab-stops: list 36.0pt; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry is a small scale red category unit and was earlier granted consent under Water Act, 1974 dated 13.07.2018 valid upto 30.06.2021 and Air <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Act 1981 dated 13.07.2018 valid upto 30.06.2021 for manufacturing of Valves and Ingots @ 8 MTD by installing 1 No. electric furnace of capacity @ 0.1 megawat with bag house filter as APCD, 1 no. DG set of capacity 200 KVA with canopy and with electroplating section.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; tab-stops: list 36.0pt; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act 1981 through OCMMS for manufacturing of for manufacturing of Valves, Taps, Cocks and Ingots @ 8 Metric Tonnes/Day.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; tab-stops: list 36.0pt; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The agenda note has been perused and it has been observed that Regional Office has not given point wise reply of decisions of hearing dated 20/1/2022. Further, Regional Office has not clarified whether the industry is required to obtained AUC for smelting process and if yes whether it has obtained or not.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; tab-stops: list 36.0pt; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As such if approved, Regional Office may be requested to clarify the above and process the cases accordingly.</p> |
